Cues is a small but charming MR experience that evokes the magic of mixed reality.
Cues fills your room with transparent cubes that float in the air and make sounds when you touch them.
Use your hand to set a glowing orb in motion, and it will fly around the room at high speed, bouncing off walls and cubes and making music. If you dim the lights in the menu, the orb will also create exciting color plays in the room. I recorded a video of this for you.
In addition to this relaxing experience, there is also a small game: In the so-called Puzzle mode, you have to smash the cubes in the room with the orb, similar to the arcade classic Breakout, but in 3D. The higher the level, the bigger the piles of cubes you have to destroy. The speed of the orb can be reduced in the settings, and an invisible cage can be activated around the cubes to make this game a little easier.
Cues is a simple but beautiful experience that works well for demonstrating mixed reality because it is easy to understand and requires no controllers.
