VR racer EXOCars is holding a tournament and you can win a Quest 3S as a prize
The new VR racing game EXOCars is holding its first tournament with prizes to be won.
EXOCars was released on November 14th and the developer promised a tournament with great prizes, which starts tomorrow.
The tournament will run from November 28th through December 9th. During this time, you can enter the tournament from the main menu. The tournament is available for both the Meta Quest and SteamVR versions of the game.
The main prizes are as follows:
- Quest 3S
- H4 Boost Halo Battery Strap from Kiwi Design or Quest 2 equivalent
- G4 Pro Performance Controller Grips from Kiwi Design or Quest 2 equivalent
- USB-C Fast Charger
Ten random winners will also receive:
- A code for any VR game on any platform (up to $30)
- A game from Joy Way on any platform
All participants will receive an exclusive car design created specifically for this tournament.
Since this is the first tournament, there is no in-game currency entry fee, so you can enter directly.
The studio promises more details about the tournament on the Discord server, but at the time of this writing, I could not find any rules. But I'm told that they should be visible inside the game tomorrow when the tournament starts.
What is EXOCars?
EXOcars puts you safely behind the wheel of an exoskeleton racing car. There are currently four game modes available, from a single-player career mode to classic multiplayer racing, a battle mode with weapons and power-ups, and the new tournament mode.
I tried EXOCars with Quest 3 and praised the varied environments and intense driving experience, which can be a challenge for people prone to motion sickness.
