9 VR games to look forward to in November 2024
What potential VR and MR hits are coming in November? Here are the most promising titles for all major platforms.

Metro Awakening (November 7th for Meta Quest, PC VR, Playstation VR 2)
Metro Awakening is a new game in the Metro series developed exclusively for VR by Vertigo Games (Arizona Sunshine 1 & 2, After The Fall).
The story takes place before the events of Metro 2033 and shows the post-apocalyptic universe from the perspective of the doctor Serdar, who faces the dangers of the Metro to help his wife. MIXED already had a chance to play Metro Awakening.
Those who pre-order the Deluxe Edition will be able to play on November 5th already.

EXOcars (November 14th for Meta Quest, PC-VR, Playstation VR 2)
EXOcars is a buggy racing game with realistic driving physics and single and multiplayer modes.
Racing takes place on a variety of terrains: from streets and stadiums to deserts, mountains and tropical paradises. There will be ramps, drifts and obstacles to avoid. The studio also promises tournaments with real prizes, vehicle customization, special challenges and seasonal events.
EXOcars is coming to the Horizon Store, Playstation Store and on Steam.
Last Stand (November 14th for Meta Quest)
Last Stand is a mixed reality shooter with an innovative concept: You fight in your own home against players who are doing the same in their own homes. In the duels, you transform your home into strategic fortresses and use the physical layout of the room to gain a tactical advantage.
The MR game is being developed by Soul Assembly, the studio behind Home Invasion, one of the best mixed reality shooters to date.
Last Stand will be released in Early Access in the Horizon Store.
Spatial Ops (November 14th for Meta Quest, Pico)
From VR hit studio Resolution Games (Demeo, Blaston, Racket Club) comes Spatial Ops, another mixed reality shooter designed for local multiplayer.
Got friends with a Meta Quest? Turn your home or outdoor space into a laser tag arena with classic shooter game modes like Team Deathmatch and Capture The Flag. For solo players, there is a two-hour single-player campaign.
Spatials Ops is coming to the Horizon Store and Pico Store.
Starship Troopers: Continuum (November 14th for Meta Quest, November 25 for PSVR 2)
Starship Troopers: Continuum is the first VR game set in the Starship Troopers universe, 25 years after the events of the movie.
As PsyCommander, you command and build your troopers for the battle against the Arachnids. You have over 20 weapons and 40 perks to customize your Troopers. The goal is to keep your troopers alive and let them rise in rank to get bonuses that make you even more powerful.
This sci-fi shooter is designed for up to three players in co-op, but can also be played solo.
Starship Troopers: Continuum is coming to the Horizon Store and Playstation Store.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (November 19th for PC-VR)
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 comes four years after its predecessor and, like it, supports virtual reality. According to Microsoft, it features the largest, most diverse and detailed fleet of aircraft and the most complete representation of airports and air traffic. New features include airborne firefighting, search and rescue missions, commercial flights, long-haul cargo operations, VIP charters, and air races.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is coming to Steam.
Augmented Empire (November 21th for Meta Quest)
This turn-based tactical RPG immerses you in the dystopian city of New Savannah in the year 2058. From a hideout, you control a team of misfits and criminals. Their abilities can be upgraded and overloaded with implants, or "augments," as you gain experience in a character menu. Your goal is to overthrow the dictatorship of the privileged upper class and return power to the common people.
Augmented Empire is an early VR classic that has been completely reworked for Meta Quest, featuring 4K textures and a mixed reality mode.
Augmented Empire is coming to the Horizon Store.
The Thrill Of The Fight 2 (November 21th for Meta Quest)
The sequel to the most successful VR boxing game features multiplayer for the first time. Single player content, training modes, and other features will be released at a later date.
The Thrill of the Fight 2 will be released in Early Access in the Horizon Store.
Trombone Champ: Unflattened (November 26th, 2024)
The original flat title became a viral hit thanks to its quirky humor and free-form gameplay. In Trombone Champ: Unflattened, you can now swing the trombone in VR and play your way to the top of the leaderboards. Over 50 songs await you at launch, from classics to folk anthems.
Trombone Champ is the first VR title from Flat2VR Studios. Not only that, the gameplay has been optimized for VR and expanded with new features such as a campaign, and a custom song mode. There is even a mixed reality mode for Quest 3 and 3S.
