Meta Quest+ in October 2024: These VR games are included

Meta's game subscription offers two VR/MR titles per month, plus a rotating catalogue of games. What games are included this month?

The following monthly VR games are added this month:

Zombieland: Headshot Fever

Zombieland: Headshot Fever is a fast-paced lightgun arcade shooter inspired by the Zombieland movies. Well-known characters such as Tallahassee, Columbus, Wichita and Little Rock make humorous comments throughout the game.

The game focuses on fast, accurate shooting, with headshots triggering an 'adrenaline mode' that slows down time and allows for combo kills. Players have access to a variety of weapons and upgrades, which encourages experimentation. The game offers high replay value through leaderboards and challenges to complete levels as quickly as possible.

Down the Rabbit Hole

Down the Rabbit Hole is a VR adventure game set in the world of Alice in Wonderland. Players control a young girl who has fallen into Wonderland, solving puzzles and exploring a surreal environment.

The game is played from a third-person perspective, with a diorama-style view that allows you to manipulate the world around the protagonist. The puzzles are interactive and creative, taking full advantage of VR's immersive capabilities.

The game features iconic characters such as the Cheshire Cat and the Queen of Hearts, with branching story paths leading to multiple endings. Visually, it captures the whimsical and eerie nature of Wonderland and offers a magical experience.

The sequel, Escaping Wonderland, has recently been released and was well received in our review.

How Meta Quest+ works

Meta Quest+ was launched in July 2023 and has been offering two monthly VR games ever since. The subscription works like this:

• Every month, Meta selects two new VR games.
• You must claim the new VR games each month online, in the headset, or in the Meta Quest app, or the offer will expire at the end of the month. This also means that you can't claim VR games from previous months retroactively.
• If you claim the VR games every month, your Quest+ game library will grow over time.
• The VR subscription can be canceled at any time, so you can skip a month if you already own the VR games announced for the next month.
• If you cancel your subscription, you'll lose access to the VR games you've claimed. If you re-subscribe, you'll regain access to them and be able to claim the VR games that are currently available.
• Quest+ supports Quest 3 and Quest 3S, Quest 2, and Quest Pro.

In March 2024, a Game Pass-style game catalog was added, making Meta Quest+ much more appealing, especially to new Quest customers. Titles rotate in and out on a monthly basis.

The price has not changed: Meta Quest+ costs $7.99 USD per month or $59.99 USD for an annual subscription.
