Playstation VR 2: These were the top selling VR games in August 2024
Sony has published the top downloads of August 2024 for Playstation VR 2.
The Playstation Store top downloads are released once a month and give an idea of the sales success of the listed VR games compared to others, as most PSVR 2 titles are only available as digital downloads.

PSVR 2 Expects a Big Fall and Winter
Summer is the toughest time of the year for the VR industry, and it was an especially tough period for Playstation VR2 due to the lack of major new titles for the headset.
Like June and July, August was dominated by older games: Titles like Beat Saber, Swordsman VR, Pavlov, Among Us VR, Arizona Sunshine 2, Job Simulator, and Creed: Rise to Glory are all regulars on the download charts. The good news is that two August releases made it into the top downloads: the retro shooter Compound and the arcade simulation Arcade Paradise.
Fall and winter should bring some life back into the fold, as a number of major VR games are coming to Playstation VR 2: titles like Metro: Awakening, Skydance's Behemoth, and Alien: Rogue Incursion, as well as potential indie hits like Vendetta Forever, Wanderer: The Fragments of Fate and the Arizona Sunshine remake. Fans of platformers can look forward to the Astro Bot alternative Max Mustard.
This month sees the release of two games that will invite PSVR 2 owners into the Zone: Chernobyl Again and Into the Radius, which has been a big hit on Steam and Meta Quest.
