Varjo Reality Cloud now supports Quest 3 and Quest Pro
Varjo's professional cloud XR streaming solution now supports the standalone headsets Quest 3 and Quest Pro, eliminating the need for a computer.
Varjo announced on X that Varjo Reality Cloud can now stream immersive 3D workflows to Meta Quest 3 and Quest Pro. Varjo Reality Cloud previously supported Varjo VR-3, XR-3, Aero, Valve Index, iPhone and iPads.
The release notes list the following use cases and features of Varjo Reality Cloud for Quest headsets:
- Access 3D content your organization has uploaded to Varjo Reality Cloud.
- Use high-performance cloud computers to stream content to your Meta Quest.
- Join and start personal and collaborative Reality Cloud sessions.
- Switch easily between personal and collaborative sessions.
- Move in your streamed content using the on-screen controls.
- Monitor session length.
To use Varjo Reality Cloud with Meta Quest, a standalone Varjo application must be installed on the devices via sideloading. No PC is required.
The service can stream Autodesk VRED as well as Unity and Unreal-based apps.
