Apple Vision Pro reportedly available in very limited quantities for launch
According to supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, only 60,000 to 80,000 units of the Vision Pro will be available at launch. Kuo expects the headset to sell out quickly under these circumstances. The Apple Vision Pro will be released in the US on February 2. The reasons for the very limited number of units are the complex manufacturing process and the low yield of the MicroLED displays. However, the low availability should work in Apple's favor: there will be more hype around the device and the company can announce that the device is sold out shortly after launch.
