Vampire: The Masquerade - VR game coming for Meta Quest 3
The VR spin-off of the role-playing game series is called Vampire: The Masquerade Justice and is scheduled for release later this year for Meta Quest 2 and 3.
Vampire: The Masquerade Justice will be a single-player VR adventure with role-playing elements. Set in the fantasy universe of World of Darkness, the VR game is a collaboration between Fast Travel Games and license holder Paradox Interactive. The announcement was made during this year's Meta Gaming Showcase, which featured over twenty new VR games.
VR role-playing game: Become a bloodthirsty vampire
You take on the role of a vampire who feeds on the blood of both humans and his own kind. Searching for your father's murderer, you will uncover a conspiracy. You'll explore dark alleys, canals, catacombs, and sprawling palazzi in a dark and mysterious fantasy version of Venice.
In addition to the main storyline, Vampire: The Masquerade Justice will also feature numerous side missions. The story will be influenced by various dialog options and interactions with NPCs.
In addition to narrative scenes and conversations, the gameplay will include stealth, combat, and puzzle elements. You'll sneak through the darkness in search of prey, using an arm-mounted crossbow for both combat and puzzle-solving.
Vampire RPG to be released for Meta Quest 2 and 3
You can optimize your character in the style of a role-playing game by upgrading skill trees in stealth, combat, and more. Experience points will be earned by completing main and side quests.
The VR RPG will be released by the end of 2023 for Meta Quest 2, Quest Pro and the Meta Quest 3, which was officially announced hours before the Meta Gaming Showcase 2023. There is no concrete release date, yet. The price is expected to be around 30 Euros.
