Double Jack has announced the first major content update for its VR conductor game Maestro. The "Secret Sorcery Pack" will be released on December 16th in the Meta Horizon Store for $8.99 and brings famous music tracks from Harry Potter and Disney's Fantasia to the Meta Quest.

According to Double Jack, the DLC includes John Williams' iconic "Hedwig's Theme" from Harry Potter and "Sorcerer's Apprentice" from Fantasia. The selected pieces feature dynamic contrasts, rhythmic intensity and magical melodies.

The main game Maestro will be reduced from $24.99 to $19.99 as part of a holiday promotion from December 16 to January 7, 2025. A bundle of the main game and the Secret Sorcery Pack will be available for $24.99 instead of $33.98 during the same period.

Berklee College of Music assists with development

The basic Maestro game already impresses with its natural controls and immersive atmosphere. On the Meta Quest 3, the game renders a full orchestra, including animated musicians. After successful performances, you can perform to a cheering audience in the virtual opera house.

According to Michael Moyes, COO of Berklee Online, the renowned Berklee College of Music has been involved in the development of Maestro for two years, providing pedagogical and content feedback. The goal is to bring classical orchestral music to life through VR for the digital generation.
