Meta Quest 3: First mixed reality PvP shooter Last Stand to enter Early Access in November
British studio Soul Assembly announces the release date of the first mixed reality PvP shooter Last Stand. Starting in November, you can turn your home into a tactical battlefield.
Last Stand, the first mixed reality PvP shooter of its kind, will enter Early Access on November 14th. As developer Soul Assembly announced via X (formerly Twitter), the game turns your own four walls into a strategic battleground for intense 1v1 combat.
Last Stand is unique in its seamless integration of multiple game environments: While players move freely in their own homes, their opponents do the same in their surroundings. Both spaces merge into one virtual battlefield.
According to Soul Assembly, everyday objects such as sofas, beds and bookshelves can be used as tactical cover. Precise full-body tracking ensures that the avatars move realistically, making evasive maneuvers and tactical positioning important elements of the game.

Experienced VR studio at work
Soul Assembly has already made a name for itself with several VR and mixed reality titles. The British studio's best-known games include Soul Spire, Drop Dead: The Cabin and the recently released Just Dance VR, which was developed in collaboration with Ubisoft.
Last Stand will be available for Meta Quest 3, Quest 3S and Quest Pro. Meta Quest 2 will not be supported. It is not known if other headsets such as the Pico 4 Ultra, which is also Mixed Reality capable, will be supported in the future.
