Oculus founder Palmer Luckey may be working on a new VR headset
Palmer Luckey announced yesterday on X that he will be announcing work on a new VR headset at AWE 2024. How serious he is remains to be seen. The tweet followed a joking dig by VR enthusiast Brad Lynch, who compared Luckey's new retro project to Steam's hardware releases. Shortly before, Luckey unveiled Chromatic, a handheld from his new company ModRetro that plays Game Boy and Game Boy Color cartridges. The Augmented World Expo 2024 will take place from June 18th to 20th and will induct Palmer Luckey into the XR Hall of Fame. We will, of course, keep you updated on any new announcements.
