Nock: Bow and arrow soccer coming soon to SteamVR
The VR game Nock, already available for the Quest VR headset and PSVR 2, will soon be released on SteamVR. The game is a mix of soccer and archery.
The VR game Nock combines soccer and archery. The goal of the game is to shoot a ball into the opponent's goal using a bow and arrow. Special items are available for this purpose. Among other things, players can create obstacles with block arrows. In addition, players are not limited to bows and arrows, but can also score goals with their bodies.
The sports game has been available for the Meta Quest VR headsets since March 2022, and has received many positive reviews in the Quest Store. The PSVR 2 release was in May 2023, and now the SteamVR release is imminent.
When is Nock coming to SteamVR?
The game's Steam page says, "Available Soon". The Quest version costs $9.99 and the PSVR 2 version costs $19.99. We expect the SteamVR version to be priced at a similar level.
If you want to try out Nock in advance, you can sign up for a play test on Steam. A first play test took place from June 7th to 12th. The second play test started on June 30th and will continue until today, July 4th. It is not yet known if more dates will follow.
System requirements
The system requirements for Nock are relatively modest. At least an Intel Core i5-4590/AMD FX 8350, 4 GB RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9 290 and 4 GB of free space are required.
