XR Indies & Friends Showcase presents exciting VR and mixed reality projects shortly before Meta Connect
The XR Indies & Friends Showcase presents new reveals and updates from independent VR and MR developers on September 25, 2024.
The first XR Indies & Friends Showcase will take place on September 25 at 8am PT/11am ET/4pm UK/ 5pm CET. The event is produced by the same team behind last month's VR Games Showcase.
The show is set to showcase some of the best and most promising indies in the XR landscape today and will include projects from both VR and mixed reality studios. It will be broadcast on the VR Games Showcase YouTube channel, shortly before the Meta Connect 2024 keynote.
The following studios and projects have already been confirmed:
- One True Path: More details on the highly anticipated new title from Innerspace VR.
- Wall Town Wonders: New gameplay from the beautiful mixed reality adventure.
- Metamorposis: A brand new trailer for the classic game being brought to VR.
- DIG VR: New gameplay from the arcade tomb simulation ahead of the upcoming launch.
VR Games Showcase celebrated its premiere in August
The team behind the XR Indies & Friends Showcase produced the first VR Games Showcase last month. More than 15 titles and announcements were presented at the premiere on August 15, 2024, including first gameplay reveals, updates on ongoing projects and new VR games from studios such as Fast Travel Games, nDreams and Vertigo Games. The show attracted over 200,000 viewers worldwide.
