VR mod brings one of the best co-op games to virtual reality
Praydog's universal VR mod brings one of the most creative co-op games of recent years to virtual reality.
Praydog's highly anticipated VR mod will make it possible to bring almost any Unreal Engine 4 or 5 game into virtual reality. A concrete release date has not yet been set, but it should be later this year.
When it does, the universal VR mod could make hundreds of flat games VR-ready. Among the games tested so far are Fortnite, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and the co-op game Aliens: Fireteam Elite. Now, It Takes Two has been added as another game for multiplayer fans.
VR mod also supports cross-platform play
It Takes Two can only be played in co-op mode, as none of the numerous environmental puzzles in the game world can be solved without the help of other players. Praydog's VR mod allows for a free choice of camera.
While you have to make do with a split screen in the original, you can see the entire game world in VR. Check out the video below to see how the co-op hit plays in VR.

Alex and I tested out the co-op game of the year winner together and it's absolutely incredible in full 6DOF VR!

The co-op mode should also support cross-platform. While you play with the VR headset, other players can play on the PS5 or stream the game to their smartphone via Xbox Game Pass and Cloud Gaming.
A touching story in a fantastic world
It Takes Two won several awards after its release in 2021 and was extremely well received by players and critics alike. The game is full of creativity and varied gameplay. There is also a charming and humorous story about the couple May and Cody.
The two are becoming increasingly estranged. When they tell their daughter Rose about their planned divorce, a tear from the child causes the parents to magically find themselves in doll bodies. To return to their human bodies, they must travel through a strange miniature world and come together as a team.
