Steam Next Fest: Check out these great VR games
The next Steam Next Fest has started. Which VR games are included and which ones should you try?
The summer Steam Next Fest will take place from June 13-20, 2022. During this time, you can try demos of 32 unreleased VR games. I've picked out the most promising titles below.

Kayak VR: Mirage
Kayak VR promises to be one of the most beautiful PC VR games ever. The soon-to-be-released full version features two game modes: a physically challenging timed race and an exploration mode where you can float down the river without time pressure and enjoy the beautifully designed landscapes.
A realistic physics simulation makes paddling feel real, according to the studio. Kayak VR: Mirage will be released on July 12, 2022.
Paradox of Hope VR
Fans of the Stalker and Metro games watch out! Paradox of Hope is an atmospheric single-player game in which you explore the metros of a post-apocalyptic Moscow. The title combines survival, horror and sneak elements and lets you modify and upgrade your arsenal and equipment.
In an additional endless game mode, you'll explore procedurally generated basement vaults and have to survive as long as you can by being careful and trading.
Plasmatic
For lovers of puzzle games there is Plasmatic. Accompanied by a dubious AI, you explore futuristic rooms and have to guide energy balls into designated containers under time pressure. The game features 22 levels and strong portal vibes.
Plasmatic will be released on June 22, 2022.
Requisition VR
Requisition is like "Home Alone", only that you fight against zombies instead of burglars. You roam through a zombie-infested small town and have to barricade yourself in houses alone or together with three friends.
Scattered around you'll find more than 300 items that can be used to make deadly weapons with duct tape. For example, you can stick knives and forks into a toaster and use them as deadly projectiles or set up nasty traps.
Requistion VR will launch in Early Access in September 2022.
Ruins Magus
Ruins Magus is an action JPRG developed for virtual reality. You take on the role of a novice mage who explores the ruined city of Grand Amnis and its surroundings, using a variety of spells to protect it from a mysterious threat. The densely told story consists of 26 chapters.
This winter, Ruins Magus will be released for Meta Quest 2 and PC VR headsets.
Tomb Explorer VR
In this VR game, you become a cross between Indiana Jones and Lara Croft, exploring ancient temples in Petra, Peru and Egypt to recover historical treasures and artifacts. You'll have to crawl, jump, climb, avoid traps and solve puzzles.
It is not yet known when Tomb Explorer VR will be released.
