This list contains game announcements from the past few weeks.

Yesterday's State of Play revealed a new game, Dreams of Another, as well as release dates and new gameplay trailers for Five Nights at Freddy's: Secret of the Mimic and The Midnight Walk.

I updated the list accordingly.

Dreams of Another

At the State of Play, Q-Games presented Dreams of Another, the latest addition to the PixelJunk series.

This third-person exploration action game is built around the philosophical theme of "there is no creation without destruction". Instead of destroying objects by shooting them, your shots materialize and rebuild the world.

Dreams of Another will be released later this year, and you will be able to play with or without PSVR 2.

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimic

After Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted 1 and 2, a third VR spin-off of the highly successful game series will follow this year.

A new gameplay trailer was shown at the State of Play and the release date was announced: June 13, 2025.

Secret of the Mimic can be played with or without PSVR 2.

The Midnight Walk

At the State of Play, a new gameplay trailer was revealed and a release date of 8 May 2025 was announced.

The Midnight Walk is an extraordinary dark fantasy adventure in which every element was first hand-modeled in clay, then animated using stop-motion technology and scanned in 3D.

You take on the role of a character named "The Burnt One" who befriends the lost lantern creature "Potboy". Together, you will explore and illuminate a world full of wonders and horrors. You will have to outwit many monsters who are out to devour your little friend's flame. Along the way, you will experience five stories about fire and darkness, in which numerous strange characters appear.

The game can be played with or without a VR headset.

Resist

Resist is an action RPG set in a dystopian future. You fight against a regime that rules the city of Concord with an iron fist. You will swing between skyscrapers in Spiderman style and engage in action-packed gun battles.

Resist features a campaign and dozens of side missions: from manipulating public opinion and hacking billboards to epic battles against enemy hordes. An extensive skill tree allows for strategic progression, while online leaderboards allow you to compete with others.

Resist is already available for Meta Quest and Steam. The PSVR 2 version will feature haptic effects and other improvements. No word yet on when this will happen, but more details will be available soon.

Deisim & Underworld Overseer

Myron Software announced plans on Reddit to release the god sims Deisim and Underworld Overseer for the Playstation VR 2.

There are already playable versions, the studio writes, and hopes to release the ports "in the coming months."

Into Black

You take on the role of space explorer Ben Mitchell, who discovers a strange asteroid and, upon closer inspection, is sucked into a wormhole along with his spaceship. On the other side, Mitchell finds himself in the cave system of a mysterious alien planet.

Over the course of the game, you will explore more than 20 levels in different biomes, hunt alien creatures, collect resources and upgrade your tools. Into Black features a co-op mode and can be played by two players.

The surprise Quest hit has received five updates since its release in October 2024, the last of which included new localizations.

It is not known when Into Black will be released. More details will follow soon.

Dig VR

The excavator simulator for Meta Quest was released in October, and a version for PC VR and Playstation VR 2 will follow on March 20.

You start with a mini excavator and unlock larger machines as you progress through the game. There are four excavator sizes to choose from. Seven tool attachments such as buckets, jackhammers and circular saws expand your range of applications. The variety of tools should allow you to master different tasks and improve your skills as a virtual excavator operator.

The game offers an extensive career mode that is suitable for both beginners and experienced players. In addition, entertaining mini-games and a relaxed sandbox mode for creative digging without time pressure await you.
