Here are the first PSVR 2 games with PS5 Pro enhancements
Playstation 5 Pro will be released on November 7, which will also benefit owners of a Playstation VR 2.
Sony has published a list of more than 40 games on the PlayStation Blog that will feature PS5 Pro enhancements for the launch of the new console.
Among them is a VR-exclusive game, Kayak VR: Mirage, which is known for its realistic graphics.
The list also includes No Man's Sky VR, Resident Evil Village, and Resident Evil 4, all of which have VR modes. It is unclear if and to what extent this will benefit from the PS5 Pro.
A number of studios and developers have also announced PS5 Pro enhancements for their VR games:
Arken Age
The VR action-adventure Arken Age will be released on January 16, 2025.
Studio Vitruvius has announced the following improvements: a 15 percent higher resolution in 90 Hz mode and a 25 percent higher resolution in 60/120 Hz mode (reprojection).
Its looking like a 15% resolution boost on 90FPS mode and a 25% resolution boost on 60/120 mode

CyubeVR
The voxel game, which is one of the best looking PSVR 2 games, has already received a PS5 Pro update, the developer told MIXED.
According to the developer, the improvements are primarily these:
- Increased distance for maximum LOD quality of the landscape and anything the player has built on it, so the player's builds look very detailed from a distance.
- Higher LOD quality for trees so that LOD changes are less noticeable from a distance.
The resolution remains the same, but is already very high.
Subside
The beautiful underwater world of Subside is currently only available on Steam, a PSVR 2 version is in development and will benefit from PS5 Pro.
PS5 Pro and Playstation VR 2
The PS5 Pro will be released on November 7th and will cost $700.
The new console brings several technical improvements over the PS5, including a GPU with 67 percent more cores and 28 percent faster RAM. According to Sony, this enables an overall rendering speed that is up to 45 percent faster. Another new feature is AI-powered upscaling, which Sony calls "PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution" (PSSR). Other enhancements include PS5 Pro Game Boost, which can improve the performance of over 8,500 backwards-compatible PS4 and PS5 games.
Playstation System Architect Mark Cerny confirmed at the PS5 Pro unveiling in September that the console will enable higher resolution PSVR 2 games thanks to the Game Boost feature. PSVR 2 games will also benefit from the new AI upscaling at some point, but PSSR will need to be adapted for the VR headset first.
