The founder of Oculus and Meta have reconciled
The tech wunderkind Palmer Luckey and Meta just opened a new chapter in their relationship.
Palmer Luckey founded Oculus in the summer of 2012 and kicked off the VR wave. Almost two years later, Facebook acquired the startup for $3 billion. But in 2017, Luckey was ousted from the company for political reasons.

Luckey replied: "Thanks, Boz. Apology accepted. I am infamously good at holding grudges, but Meta has changed a lot over the past 8 years. The people responsible for my ouster and internal/external smear campaign aren't even around anymore."
Of his visit to Meta and Orion, Luckey writes: "It was pretty surreal to be back on campus with you guys, Orion alone was well worth the trip. It is more or less exactly what I would have wanted to accomplish."
Thanks, Boz. Apology accepted.
I am infamously good at holding grudges, but Meta has changed a lot over the past 8 years. The people responsible for my ouster and internal/external smear campaign aren't even around anymore. At some point, the Ship of Theseus has sailed. https://t.co/SvHbU5qwcn
