Meta Quest: Smash Drums heats you up with iconic 90s songs
Zombie, Alright, It's My Life: These and other catchy tunes from the '90s and 2000s are now available to drum on your Meta Quest in Smash Drums.
PotamWorks releases today a new DLC pack for the VR rhythm game Smash Drums on Meta Quest 3, Quest 2 and Quest Pro. The "Pop Rock Legends" pack includes five well-known tracks from influential bands of the 90s and early 2000s.
According to Potam, the new pack allows you to drum along to songs that defined the pop rock of the era. The selection includes the following tracks:
- "Zombie" by The Cranberries
- "Friday I'm in Love" by The Cure
- "It's My Life" by Bon Jovi
- "Alright" by Supergrass
- "Hanging by a Moment" by Lifehouse
Pop Rock Legends also features new avatar customization options in multiplayer mode, including additional hats and heads. A new environment called "Frickin' Rock Show" has also recently been added for free to all players. This DLC brings the total number of songs available in Smash Drums to 83, 25 of which are available as paid add-ons.

Smash Drums has become one of the best VR music games for Meta Quest since its release in 2021. The game currently has a rating of 4.5 stars with more than 2,200 reviews in the Meta Horizon Store. Smash Drums lets you play a virtual drum kit and feel like a real rock star in your living room.
The VR game is all about accessibility. The level of difficulty and spatial positioning can be customized, and there is even a mixed reality mode that seamlessly integrates the virtual drum kit into your real environment.
The developer PotamWorks releases regular updates and constantly improves Smash Drums. For example, with the "Classic Mode", the developer has implemented the music track known from classic music games such as Guitar Hero, as well as special optimizations for Quest 3 that increase the visual quality.
