Meta Quest: Path of Fury VR catapults you straight into an 80s martial arts movie
Trek to Yomi creator Leonard Menchiari brings an action-packed VR kung fu thriller to Meta Quest with Path of Fury.
Independent developer Leonard Menchiari and publisher Abonico Game Works have announced Path of Fury: Episode I — Tetsuo's Tower for the Meta Quest. According to the developers, the action-packed VR game will be released in early 2025 for $9.99 and will be available for Quest 3, Quest 3S and all other current Quest headsets.

Path of Fury is an on-rails VR game inspired by 80s Chinese kung fu films such as the Wong Kar Wai series and The Raid Redemption. Arcade classics such as Time Crisis and First of the North Star were also used as inspiration.
In the game, you use your bare fists to fight your way through Tetsuo's fortress. Each floor is filled with enemies out to get you. According to the developers, precision, and speed are key — each enemy has a weakness that you must find and exploit.
Reveal trailer shows Kung-Fu action in VR
The Path of Fury reveal trailer was created under the artistic direction of Mike Galeck, an experienced filmmaker and CGI specialist. The team brought Japanese actor Akihiko Serikawa, stuntman Ramón Álvarez (of Gladiator 2 fame) and martial arts expert and action director Nacho Serapio on board for the production.
Leonard Menchiari, the developer behind Path of Fury, started his career in the audiovisual field in 2010. After working at Valve (2011-2012), he developed games such as the tactical RIOT Civil Unrest (2016), the platform adventure The Eternal Castle Remastered (2019) and the samurai action game Trek to Yomi (2022).
