Meta Quest 3S: Online store leaks alleged price of the VR headset
A South Korean online retailer lists the Meta Quest 3S with 128 GB. It also announces the possible price of the VR headset.
A South Korean online store, which is said to be an authorized dealer, lists the Meta Quest 3S with 128 GB storage capacity for the equivalent of 299 US dollars. The offer appeared on Arca.Live and was shared by Twitter user @TBluebox12.

It can be assumed that the release is an oversight and a temporary product page. However, the stated price is in line with previous assumptions. A price between $300 and $400 is expected, while the Quest 3 is available for $500.
Meta Quest 3S expected to be officially unveiled next week
Although there are no official statements from Meta yet, the Meta Quest 3S is expected to be unveiled next week at Meta Connect 2024.
Just last week, new images of the VR headset surfaced from both official and unofficial sources. A render spotted by a Reddit user in the test version of Meta's PC VR Link software shows the clearest image of the Meta Quest 3S yet.
The Meta Quest 3S will be a more affordable version of the Quest 3, replacing the sold-out Quest 2. The headset will feature the Quest 3's more powerful chipset, RGB pass-through, and the same ringless Touch Plus controllers.
However, unlike the Quest 3, the Quest 3S will use the older LC display and Fresnel lenses of the Quest 2. There should be no differences on the software side.
