Here’s everything you get for free when buying a Meta Quest 3S
Meta Quest 3S offers unrivaled value for money, also thanks to the extras included with the purchase.
Meta Quest 3S is Meta's new budget headset that replaces Meta Quest 2. The main upgrades are a next-generation chipset for better-looking games, high-resolution color mixed reality, and new ringless Touch Plus controllers with improved haptics.
The entry-level 128GB model costs $300. Taking inflation into account, the Quest 3S is 20% cheaper than the Quest 2 when it was released four years ago for the same price.
These extras are included with your purchase
The purchase of the Quest 3S includes the recently released Batman: Arkham Shadow, a VR game developed by Meta exclusively for the Quest 3S and Quest 3 that takes graphics on standalone VR headsets to a new level. Batman: Arkham Shadow currently holds an average score of 85 on Metacritic and normally costs $50 in the Horizon Store. This offer is valid until April 30, 2025.
Also included is a three-month subscription to Meta Quest+, worth a total of $24. This unlocks six VR games selected by Meta for three months, as well as a catalog of 20 titles, including hits like Asgard's Wrath 2, Demeo, and Walkabout Mini Golf. So there are plenty of free games to get you started in the world of VR.
Finally, there are numerous VR games, apps, movies, and experiences you can enjoy for free on Meta Quest. These include
- Meta's Battle Royale Population: One,
- Gorilla Tag, currently the most popular VR game,
- Meta's Metaverse platform Horizon Worlds and
- many immersive VR films, documentaries, and experiences on Meta Quest TV and Theater Elsewhere.
If you decide to buy the more expensive Quest 3 instead, you'll get all these extras as well. Take a look at our article on the main similarities and differences between Quest 3S and 3, if you can't decide which headset to buy.
