According to HTC America General Manager Daniel O'Brien, the company wants to accommodate long-time customers who want to continue using their headsets out of warranty and repair them if necessary. The step-by-step instructions provided by iFixit are designed to allow users without special technical knowledge to perform repairs on their own. Parts offered include specific components for Vive CE and Vive Pro headsets, Vive wireless adapters, Vive trackers, wall mounts, cables, and Vive VR controllers.
