The Series A round was led by Bolero Holdings and Vester Partners, with participation from existing investors, including European early-stage venture capital firm Cherry Ventures.

Investments will be made in both the entertainment and enterprise divisions. "Our aim is to bring our cutting-edge HGXR training and simulation solutions to the global market, with a focus on Europe and North America," Hologate writes.

It is also investing in new products and hires, as well as AI. "Lastly, we plan to further leverage AI to enable realistic and authentic interaction with virtual humans, unlocking new opportunities and driving innovation."
