What to expect in You Can't Scare Me
You Can't Scare Me is a multiplayer VR horror game in which up to four players compete against each other. You choose between two sides: As the "Haunter", you lay traps and scare the other participants. In the role of the "Haunted", you have to collect keys and bones without screaming in terror. Your screams of fear are recognized and rated by the microphone.
There are a total of eight spooky levels with different themes to choose from, including an abandoned theme park, a haunted house and a gloomy cemetery. As you explore the levels, you can unlock eight creepy monster costumes and activate over 50 different shock traps to scare your fellow players.
In addition to the multiplayer mode for shared scary sessions, You Can't Scare Me also offers a single-player mode for solo scares. In party mode, you create a scary level and pass your VR headset on to friends. Then it's a case of waiting to see who keeps their nerve and doesn't run away screaming.
You Can't Scare Me was released on October 10, 2024 exclusively for Meta Quest 2, Quest 3 and Quest 3S. The price is 9.99 euros. According to LunaBeat, there are currently no plans to release the game on other VR platforms.
