In "The Exit 8 VR", you find yourself in an endless corridor of a subway station. White tiles on the walls, ceiling, and floor surround you, while the monotonous hum of the neon lights and their occasional click break the silence.

You begin to walk, sometimes turning left, sometimes right. An inconspicuous man with a mustache, briefcase, and smartphone approaches you in the corridor without making a sound. On the left, you discover posters for various exhibitions, a dentist's surgery and a dog groomer, on the right, a no smoking sign.

Further ahead there are three doors, the first slightly offset, the other two close together. Two air ducts hang above them. A total of four surveillance cameras dangle from the ceiling. A continuous yellow line runs across the otherwise white tiled floor.

All these details will soon become very familiar to you, as you will walk along this corridor countless times. Until you finally find exit number 8.
