What to expect from the new Quest 3 accessories from KIWI design
KIWI design recently introduced two new products for the Meta Quest 3: the K4 Comfort Head Strap and the V3 Facial Interface. Both accessories aim to improve the wearing comfort of the VR headset.
The K4 Comfort Head Strap is based on the previous model and has been specially optimized for the Quest 3. Weighing just 234 grams, it promises a lighter and more balanced weight distribution. The manufacturer has made the back of the head narrower and integrated a revised rotary knob, which should be particularly comfortable when sitting or lying down.
The padding of the head harness has been widened to distribute the pressure more evenly. An improved 52-degree hinge also allows the headset to be folded up more gently. The K4 Comfort Head Strap is made of plastic and synthetic leather.
The V3 Facial Interface is designed to reduce pressure on the face and provide more comfort. It is made of memory foam with a sweat-resistant synthetic leather surface. Particularly clever: L-shaped ventilation openings are designed to prevent fogging without letting light in. Additional light blockers ensure a more immersive VR experience.
Both products are available in black. The K4 Comfort Head Strap regularly costs 37.95 euros, the V3 Facial Interface 33.95 euros.
KIWI design has been an official Meta hardware partner since the end of November, which means that some of its products now carry the "Made for Meta" label. Other KIWI products such as the Comfort Battery Head Strap and the Vertical Charging Stand have already impressed in our tests.
