Quest 3: Eggy lets you raise a dragon baby in your home
Eggy is a mixed reality pet simulation in which you raise a little dragon and prepare it for life in the wild.
In Eggy, a dragon-like companion hatches from a mysterious glowing egg that you must raise from a fragile hatchling to a survivable creature.
Your home becomes a bridge between two worlds: our reality and the Dragon Realm. An ancient book of wisdom reveals tips on caring for the creature and grants access to elemental teas and magical spells.
Every decision you make while raising a dragon - from feeding it to training it to emotionally bonding with it - should affect its abilities and chances of survival in the Dragon Realm. The creature will respond to your interactions: It will purr, sing, or make sad sounds. Players can connect with the creature by singing, petting, or dancing.
Eggy will be released on April 17th exclusively for Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S. You can already add it to your wishlist in the Horizon Store.
Eggy is being developed by Spunge Games, the studio behind the VR shooter Dead Second from 2021.
In addition to Eggy, another MR pet simulation will be released in April, namely Stay: Forever Home, developed by Oculus veterans.
