FACTS

Brink XR, the studio behind Brink Traveler, has announced a partnership with Novobeing. The goal is to provide the photorealistic environments for Novobeing's VR therapies.

Novobeing has developed a platform that uses immersive therapies to reduce anxiety, stress, and pain in patients. The company's interactive programs, which include meditation, breathwork, CBT, ACT, and Positive Psychology, will now include virtual escapes to well-known natural locations.

"Our team is incredibly excited to share the healing power of nature with patients in hospitals," said Akin Bilgic, Founder of Brink XR, in a prepared statement. "Our partnership with Novobeing perfectly aligns with our mission to bring the beauty of the world to everyone, and we are looking forward to virtually taking more people to the world’s most breathtaking natural wonders."

Brink Traveler is available on the Meta Horizon Store and on Steam.

CONTEXT

Brink Traveler is the best VR travel app today

Brink XR uses photogrammetry to create walkable, photorealistic duplicates of real places. High-resolution aerial imagery from drones is combined with ground-based imagery from tripod cameras. The VR application currently offers 44 3D environments with a movement radius of several meters.

New content and features are added to the VR app on a regular basis. Since its launch three years ago, numerous new destinations, multiplayer support, and an AI travel guide have been added.
