Batman: Arkham Shadow to be released exclusively on Quest 3 & Quest 3S in October
Batman: Arkham Shadow will be released exclusively for Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S in October. You can even get the VR game for free with the purchase of a new VR headset.
At Meta Connect 2024, Meta and developer Camouflaj announced that Batman: Arkham Shadow will be released exclusively for Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S on October 22nd. The game will cost $50.
Anyone who buys a new Meta Quest 3S with 128 GB or 256 GB or a new Quest 3 with 512 GB will get the VR game for free. In addition, Meta is giving away three months of the Meta Quest+ VR game subscription. The promotion will run until April 30, 2025.
Leaks prove true
The announcement is in line with the leaks about the Quest 3S that appeared in the run-up to Meta Connect. Photos have already appeared on Reddit showing a Walmart display with the Quest 3S bundled with Arkham Shadow. The Quest 3S is a cheaper version of the Quest 3, will be released on October 15th and will be the successor of the Meta Quest 2. You can find all information about the Quest 3S in the linked article.
New Arkham game exclusive to Meta headsets
Batman: Arkham Shadow is a VR game developed by Camouflaj that is considered a full-fledged part of the popular Arkham series. The story takes place about six months after the events of Arkham Origins and before Arkham Asylum. You take on the role of a young, confident Batman and meet familiar characters like Harvey Dent and Dr. Harleen Quinzel before they discover their darker sides as Two-Face and Harley Quinn.
I had the chance to play Batman: Arkham Shadow at Gamescom and I am sure that we can expect a real VR hit for Quest headsets.
