VR studio Archiact is forced to close down after eleven years in business

Canadian VR studio Archiact is shutting down. In an official statement on LinkedIn, the company announced that it will cease operations after eleven years. Archiact was founded in 2013 and has developed over 35 games. The studio's most notable VR titles are the VR conversion of Doom 3 and the recently released Journey to Foundation. In January, Archiact was forced to announce layoffs in nearly all areas of game development. The closure of Archiact is the second VR studio to close in a short period of time. Meta's Ready at Dawn studio was hit last week.

Dungeons of Eternity: VR co-op hit removes spiders in latest update

The VR co-op fantasy action game Dungeons of Eternity now offers an option to disable spiders as enemies. The so-called "Arachnophobia Mode" was introduced as part of an update and can be activated in the settings menu. According to developer studio Othergate, spider monsters are then replaced by something more friendly looking. You can find the full patch notes in the link below the article.
