What awaits you in Iron Rebellion
Iron Rebellion drops you into a crumbling solar system where survival depends on your ability to pilot massive combat mechs. Unlike typical VR games, this one leans heavily into physics-based interactions - you'll find yourself pulling levers, flipping switches, and loading ammo directly in your virtual cockpit.
Black Beach, the development team, clearly obsessed over creating an authentic mech piloting experience. Every control in your cockpit works exactly as you'd expect if you were actually strapped into a towering war machine.
When it comes to customization, you've got six distinct mech classes to choose from. The game offers twelve different weapons and 16 parameters to tweak, letting you fine-tune your combat style and gain the upper hand in battle.
Looking for multiplayer action? You can team up with or fight against up to three other pilots across four different modes: Team Deathmatch, Uplink, Conquest, and Data Breach. The battlegrounds include seven official maps plus 18 community-created areas.
One of the game's standout features is its cross-platform matchmaking - Meta Quest and SteamVR players can duke it out together. The studio has also promised to add support for traditional flat-screen gaming down the line.
