Racket Club adds two new racket sports in major update

Racket Club is getting a massive update today that introduces two new sports, Pickleball and Table Tennis, among other improvements.
Racket Club gets two new sports with the Pickleball update:
- Pickleball leaves the Lab Area of the game to become an official Racket Club sport. With this promotion, Resolution Game is updating the ruleset for a more authentic gameplay experience and replacing the previous honor system with real-world foul tracking. Pickleball is only available in multiplayer mode. Update by the team at Resolution Games: Pickleball does indeed support single-player against bots.
- Table tennis is now available in the Lab Area. According to Resolution Games, the new sport features refined mechanics and physics that rival the best VR table tennis games. Table Tennis supports both singles and doubles modes.
As a result, Racket Club now offers four racket sports: Box Tennis (the original Racket Club sport that Resolution Games invented for the game), Spinminton (which is an official Racket Club sport since update 1.8), Pickleball and Table Tennis.
Other improvements in the Pickleball update include:
- A redesigned club: The update introduces an all-new club area with new courts and improved social areas that make it easier to meet new people, practice and compete with others.
- Racket Club shop opened: The new shop allows players to purchase cosmetic items with coins earned through daily and weekly in-game missions, adding another progression system and more personalization options to the game.
- Improved bots: The machine learning trained enemies have been further improved.
Racket Club is available to buy from the Horizon Store, Pico Store and Steam.
What is Racket Club?
Racket Club was released in late 2023 and has been updated regularly since then, bringing new features and enhancements.
In my review, I described the game as a creative and fun combination of tennis, squash, and pickleball. It offers numerous game modes, including a competitive singles and doubles mode, a career mode, and a practice mode against AI opponents.
With easy-to-understand rules, great ball physics and intense matches, the game is suitable for both beginners and competitive players. In addition, the mixed reality mode allows you to play safely in the comfort of your living room.
