Playstation VR 2: In Dreams of Another, you create through destruction
Dreams of Another promises to be a VR experience like no other.
Q-Games announced an exceptional game at the State of Play.
In the exploration and third-person shooter Dreams of Another, you create worlds instead of destroying them when you fire your gun. Using state-of-the-art point-cloud technology, the game world appears as a surreal dreamscape made up of countless particles that react to your actions. As you shoot the particles with your gun, they transform and materialize into objects and creatures with which you can interact and communicate.
The story follows two traumatized characters - the "Man in Pajamas" and the "Wandering Soldier". While the focus is on these two characters, you will also be able to interact with sentient objects such as talking trees and doors, uncovering their thoughts, feelings, and secrets.
Dreams of Another will receive PS5 Pro enhancements
The latest addition to the PixelJunk game series was created by multimedia artist, DJ, and musician Baiyon, who also contributed the concept, story, visual style and experimental soundtrack. The soundtrack mixes various instruments, synthesizers, and field recordings to create a unique soundscape.
Dreams of Another will receive PS5 Pro optimizations and feature highly detailed, high-resolution point cloud graphics and smooth animations. Playstation VR 2 will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the dreamlike environments.
