Play Hogwarts Legacy in VR and first-person with this mod
Hogwarts Legacy can now be played in VR from a first-person perspective thanks to a UEVR profile.
The UEVR profile provides the following features:
- First-person mode with properly rendered cinematics
- Motion controller-linked wand (6DoF & target highlighting)
- Right-hand or head-based locomotion
- Snap turning or smooth turning
- Streamlined UI
The UEVR profile was created by jbusfield, Pande4360 & DJ. You can download it from Nexusmods. You can also find installation instructions there.
What is UEVR?
UEVR is an injector developed by VR modder Praydog that makes almost any UE4 and UE5 flatscreen title playable on VR headsets, including many AAA games.
Features of the universal mod include
- 6-DoF head tracking (movement of the headset in space)
- Stereoscopic 3D rendering
- Front-end GUI for customization
- OpenVR/OpenXR support
- 2D game menus are automatically projected into the room
The universal mod itself does not include profiles with customizations for individual games. You can create your own profiles or download them from the Flat2VR community Discord server.
The UEVR-Profiles website collects profiles for more than 300 titles from the Flat2VR Discord. You can use the search field to see if a profile exists for a specific game, and you can also use filters to see which games work well with UEVR and whether they support motion control.
