CONTEXT

Ancient Dungeon is a dungeon crawler with roguelike elements, physics-based combat, and procedurally generated maps with a pixel aesthetic. Traps and a variety of dungeon foes such as zombies, skeletons, jumping slimes and bats await you in the dungeons. There are many secrets to discover, loot to make, and upgrades to find to improve your character.

Ancient Dungeon is in development by Eric Thullen since 2018. It was officially released in the Horizon Store in 2022. A year later, the game received a graphics upgrade for Quest 3, visually bringing it up to the level of the PC VR version and increasing the resolution by 90 percent. The PSVR 2 version followed in December 2023.
