Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is about to get an unofficial VR mod
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will soon be playable in VR thanks to a mod, and there's some first gameplay footage for you to enjoy.
VR modder Luke Ross is working on a new version of his REAL VR mod that adds stereoscopic view and 6DoF head tracking to Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. As usual with his VR mods, the game is played with a gamepad, motion controls are not supported.
VR enthusiast Ian Higton of Eurogamer received an early version of the VR mod and recorded about 40 minutes of gameplay (warning: late-game spoilers). There were some mod-related bugs in the fist fights, but Luke Ross promised that these will be fixed in the upcoming release version of the mod, which is coming soon.
Because the game and the VR mod are quite resource-intensive, Higton had to turn down the graphics settings considerably. However, with a 30xx or 40xx generation RTX card, the graphics should provide an "astounding image quality", says Luke Ross. The VR-DLSS developed by Luke Ross will also be supported.
