Cute monks, dangerous levels and you as a good ghost: This is what awaits you in Monkies in the Brickland, the new VR game from 3R Games for Meta Quest and PSVR 2.
3R Games, the studio behind Thief Simulator VR, announces Monkies in the Brickland, a new VR game where you guide good-natured monks through perilous levels. Monkies in the Brickland will be released for Meta Quest and Playstation VR2 before Christmas 2024.

According to 3R Games, the game will be available in Early Access for $9.99 and will feature over 80 levels in five different environments. According to the development studio, players take on the role of a good spirit who must guide cute monks safely through dangerous levels made of bricks — Lemmings sends its regards.
The main task is to use spiritual bricks to create safe paths and guide the monks over obstacles. Piotr Surmacz, Game Director and CEO of 3R Games, promises intuitive controls: "Anyone who has ever played with bricks will find their way around immediately," says Surmacz.
On Quest 3, Quest 3S and Quest 2, you can control Monkies in the Brickland with hand tracking. On PSVR 2, you will need the Sense Controllers — at least until Sony implements the recently shown PSVR 2 hand tracking.
Hand-drawn worlds and interactive gameplay
The features of Monkies in the Brickland at a glance:

- Multilingual support: The game will be available in twelve languages, including English, French, German, Spanish and Japanese.
3R Games has already made a name for itself with Thief Simulator VR: Greenview Street, which sold over 300,000 copies on the Meta Quest. With Monkies in the Brickland, the studio is now venturing into a cartoon-style casual VR experience.
