Participation: Via the little door in the Advent calendar.
Drawing of winners: Within 7 days after the end of the competition day.
Notification of winners: By e-mail.
Shipping: Keys by e-mail, physical items by mail (address in USA, United Kingdom or Europe required. People from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland are invited to participate in the parallel advent calendar on mixed.de).
Notes: If the winner does not respond within 7 days of notification, the prize will be forfeited and we will redraw the prize. The email address or postal address will only be used for the purpose of participation and for sending the prize. Any other use is excluded. All addresses will be deleted after the draw. Our privacy policy applies. Legal recourse is excluded. Physical items can only be sent to addresses within the USA, United Kingdom, or Europe. What you can expect in Living Room
Living Room is a child-friendly mixed reality game from developer studio Thoughtfish that transforms your living room into a home for virtual animals. It uses the mixed reality features of the Quest headsets, including furniture recognition.
Your task is to create ecosystems in your room, furnish them with plants and animals and ensure their preservation. At the beginning, the selection of biomes, flora and fauna is still limited, but grows as the game progresses. You are responsible for the reproduction of the animals by bringing two specimens of the same species together on a "love island".
Three game modes and life-size pets
Living Room offers three different modes: The main game is all about building a habitat for the animals. The challenge mode confronts you with tricky scenarios, while the creative mode allows you to freely design habitats.
One of the highlights is that players can turn animals from their ecosystems into pets, which then frolic around the room in life-size. Thanks to the save function, your creations should appear in the same place in the room the next time you start the game.
Simple graphics, but solid implementation
The game's graphics are rather simple and are aimed more at children than adults. For the latter, Living Room is a good introduction to the fascination of mixed reality. The game is conveyed solely through graphics and multilingual texts, including German.
