One of the best VR survival games is getting a co-op mode
The successful survival game Green Hell VR is getting a co-op mode on Meta Quest and Playstation VR 2 in December.
The co-op mode will be released on December 16, 2024 for Meta Quest and Playstation VR 2 and supports up to four players. The Steam version of the game is a different version of the VR game, for which no co-op mode has been announced.
Green Hell VR can be purchased in the Horizon Store and Playstation Store.

What is Green Hell VR?
Green Hell VR is a VR conversion of the original 2019 flat title.
You take on the role of Jake Higgins, an anthropologist stranded in the Amazon rainforest. You must gather resources, craft tools, hunt, and build shelter while keeping an eye on your health, hydration, and mental state. Threats include predators, poisonous creatures, and infections, as well as the psychological stress of isolation and the struggle to survive.
Virtual reality takes the experience to a new level through tactile interactions: chopping wood, building a fire, or examining your body for injuries feels more realistic and intuitive because you perform these activities with your hands instead of just pressing buttons.
Green Hell VR was released in 2022 for Meta Quest and Steam, with the latter version being closer to the original. A version for Playstation VR 2 followed in 2023, based on the Quest variant but with improved graphics.
