Medieval sandbox game Medieval Dynasty gets co-op mode on Quest
In Medieval Dynasty New Settlement, you can now build medieval settlements with your friends.
Spectral Games has introduced a co-op mode in update 1.7 for Medieval Dynasty New Settlement, the Quest version of the popular medieval simulation game. The new mode allows up to four players to explore and complete quests at the same time. The feature is still in Early Access and a hotfix is planned for this week to fix the most common bugs.
The 1.7 update also brings support for bHaptics accessories, namely the Tactsuit, Tactosy, and Tactvisior. The company announced new products just last week, including a haptic vest compatible with Meta Quest and other VR headsets for $250.
Many updates in a short time
Medieval Dynasty New Settlement is a standalone version of the medieval sandbox developed from the ground up for VR.
The focus is on gathering resources and building a settlement, hunting, cooking and farming with your own hands. You explore landscapes, complete quests and challenges, and discover treasures.
The VR game was released in March 2024 and has been regularly updated with patches ever since. The last update we reported on was released in August and brought graphical improvements to Quest 3.
