WanadevStudio, the developers of Ragnarock VR, announced the Early Access launch of their new VR game Vestiges: Fallen Tribes for October 3rd during the XR Indies & Friends Showcase. The game is a mix of a strategic card game and an auto-battler, which you can play on PC via Steam in VR as well as in a flat version.

Battle for resources in a dystopian world

You take on the role of the last survivors of a post-apocalyptic world reminiscent of Ancient Egypt. Over-exploitation of resources and destruction of the ecosystem have disrupted the climate and made water scarce. After long battles for the precious resource, the survivors invented a game to peacefully win the water by replaying past battles.

Strategic deck building and auto-battler mechanics

As the game progresses, you collect cards and build the strongest deck possible to represent your clan. You place the pieces strategically on the game board, and the soldiers then automatically fight until one of the armies is decimated. Only by deploying your units skillfully and thoughtfully can you achieve victory.

Solo missions and PvP Battles

In solo missions, you take on pre-defined single missions and weekly challenges to learn more about the history of this dystopian world. In PvP mode, the strategic positioning of your units from turn to turn is crucial. In Early Access, you have access to deck building, solo missions, public and private matchmaking, and can compete with other players on an international leaderboard.
