The Pico 4 Ultra mobile VR headset has been available for pre-order since September 6. Pico is even offering a pre-order bundle consisting of the VR headset, four VR games and the new Pico Motion Trackers at no extra cost during the promotional period until September 19th. Pico has also recently unveiled official accessories for the Pico 4 Ultra, which we would like to show you in this article.

The lightweight carrying case is designed to offer enough space for the headset and two VR controllers. Pico describes the microfiber leather handle as flexible and breathable. The transport cover is made of felt and is designed to reliably prevent damage during transportation.

The standard face cover doesn't make the Pico 4 Ultra one of the most comfortable VR headsets on the market. Pico seems to be aware of this, which is why the company is also offering a "super comfortable" official face cover.
According to the manufacturer, the large leather and foam surface is designed to conform perfectly to the face and, thanks to a larger support surface, does not cause any pressure even when worn for long periods of time.
The surface is skin-friendly, non-slip and has a fine, durable texture. The sweat-resistant padding is also easier to clean than the original and can be easily replaced thanks to the magnetic attachment.

Pico Motion Tracker for leg tracking

I was already impressed by the Pico Motion Trackers in my review of the Pico 4 Ultra. They are lightweight, compact, and work both independently and with a PC. You simply attach them to your ankles with the straps provided, or to VR accessories such as tennis rackets or dummy weapons. Calibration is done at the touch of a button and takes only a few seconds.
The trackers are compatible with Pico 4 Ultra, Pico 4 and Pico Neo Link 3 and support up to three trackers per VR headset. Battery life is said to be around 25 hours, and the 27 gram trackers are charged via USB-C.
At launch, more than 20 standalone VR games from the Pico Store will be supported. A list of known VR games for the Pico Motion Tracker can be found in the linked article. Pico also promises compatibility with PC VR applications via Pico Connect and SteamVR.
