FACTS

The Binary Mill has announced its new project "Into Black".

This first-person action-adventure game takes you into the depths of a planet inhabited by alien life forms. You will descend into the seemingly endless darkness, gathering precious resources and battling aliens as you try to repair your ship and escape.

Key features include:

  • A fully voice-acted campaign where you follow deep space scavenger Ben Mitchell and his hapless robot assistant as they become embroiled in a mystery at the heart of the universe.
  • Over 20 levels in a variety of unique biomes, including magma chambers, sunken caverns, labyrinthine tunnels, and alien nests.
  • Gather resources and upgrade tools by mining, scavenging, looting and fishing to upgrade your character and repair your ship.
  • Engage in intense combat with alien life forms using an arsenal of powerful weapons.

The Into Black campaign can be played solo or with up to three friends in co-op mode. There is also a Singularity-inspired PvPvE mode that pits you against up to 11 other players in an ever-shrinking labyrinth, forging fleeting alliances and collecting as much loot as possible.
