VR fitness app Les Mills XR Bodycombat gets "100 DLC" with new moves, environments and more
A new DLC for Les Mills fans: Odders Lab celebrates a milestone in the 25-year history of Bodycombat on Meta Quest.
One of the best VR fitness apps, Les Mills XR Bodycombat by Odders Lab, is getting its second DLC. "Bodycombat 100" is now available for Meta Quest 3, Quest 2 and Quest Pro for $7.99.
The Bodycombat 100 DLC contains:
- 8 new workouts, including an exclusive session adapted from the real Bodycombat 100 program
- 25 new songs
- Two new game mechanics: 100 Hustle and 100 Hit Challenge
- A new environment that pays homage to the 25th anniversary of Bodycombat
- New cosmetics: Bodycombat 100 gloves and a new platform
DLC builds on one of the best VR fitness apps
Les Mills, the New Zealand gym, published the now world-famous fitness program "Bodycombat" 25 years ago. This year saw the release of workout number 100, which Odders Lab is now making available in VR and mixed reality with the latest DLC.
At the end of May, the development team behind Les Mills XR Bodycombat released the first major content DLC for the VR fitness app. This was good news for many fans, as it means that Les Mills XR Bodycombat is not switching to a subscription model like the competition for FitXR or Meta's own VR fitness app Supernatural. Instead, Odders Lab intends to regularly release new DLCs to finance the further development of Les Mills XR Bodycombat.
