Train Sim World is getting a Quest spin-off soon
With Meta Quest and Train Sim World VR, you will soon be able to drive a virtual train in an authentic New York City.
Dovetail Games has announced Train Sim World VR: New York exclusively for Meta Quest. The exact release date is not yet known, but the VR game is supposed to be released soon.
The VR spin-off of the popular train and rail simulator is limited to parts of New York City and its environs, allowing you to explore stations in Manhattan and the Bronx. The single-player title will feature a campaign, individual journeys and an exploration mode.
The studio promises intuitive controls, all-new gameplay mechanics, and a stylish New York apartment to explore and decorate with collectibles.

Founded in 2009, Dovetail Games specializes in rail, transportation, and digital tabletop simulations for PC and console platforms. The studio also announced Train Sim World 5 for Windows PC, PlayStation and Xbox. It will be released on September 17, 2024.
Train Sim World VR: New York is being developed in collaboration with Just Add Water, the UK studio behind Sniper Elite VR and Sniper Elite VR: Winter Warrior.
