Ghost of Tabor makers announce two hard-hitting VR survival games
The VR games Silent North and Grim take you to icy mountain worlds and the inhospitable Mars — alone or in a team.
The well known developer Combat Waffle Studios has announced two new VR survival games, Silent North and Grim, that will take you into extreme environments and put your survival skills to the test.
Both VR games promise a thrilling survival experience where you have to be constantly on your guard. Crafting, base building, and tactical combat with a variety of weapons are all part of the experience, as well as interacting with other players — both peaceful and hostile.
Silent North will be released in February 2025 for Meta Quest and Steam, while no release date has been set for Grim. However, it is already known that the title will be released not only for Meta Quest 3 and Steam, but also for Playstation VR 2.
Below are the game descriptions for both titles.
Silent North
Silent North takes you alone or in a team to the Swiss Alps. Battle snow and ice, hunger and cold — and enemies infected with a mysterious virus, as well as other players.
Grim
Conditions are even more inhospitable in Grim. On Mars, where you were stranded, you must survive on scarce resources. Explore the mysterious red surface of the planet, build a secure base, and defend it against rival survivors and unknown dangers. Like Silent North, you can team up with other players or go it alone.
