Windlands 2 is swinging soon onto Playstation VR 2
In Windlands 2, you and up to three friends will swing through colorful worlds and battle with bow and arrow.
Windlands 2 is an older VR game that will find its way to the Playstation VR 2 in July.
Studio Psytec Games describes Windlands 2 as follows:
"A first person grappling hook exploration game. Return to the world of Windlands, alone or with friends. Armed with grappling hooks and a bow, soar through the ruins of a fallen world. Embark on a journey to destroy the gigantic titans and save the world from an ancient danger."
Windlands 2 features Spiderman-like locomotion with optional parkour platforming, epic bow and arrow battles against giant bosses, and co-op for up to four players.
The original was released for PC VR headsets in 2018, and for the first Playstation VR in 2021. A Quest version followed in 2023.
The PSVR 2 version features a native 90Hz frame rate, support for adaptive triggers, headset haptics, and cross-play with PC VR and Quest. Those who have already purchased the game for the first Playstation VR will receive a free upgrade.
Windlands 2 will be available for Playstation VR 2 on July 25th.
