VR games will get their own megabooth at Gamescom 2024

Some of the biggest VR studios have joined forces and will have a large XR booth at the upcoming Gamescom.

Called "Home of XR," the megabooth will showcase recently revealed and yet-to-be-announced titles behind closed doors. All the games are targeting a holiday 2024 release.

The following studios will be demonstrating upcoming VR titles to the press:

  • Vertigo Games (known for titles such as Arizona Sunshine 1 & 2, After The Fall, The 7th Guest VR, and the upcoming Metro Awakening)

  • nDreams (known for titles such as Synapse, Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord, and Phantom: Covert Ops)

  • Fast Travel Games (known for titles such as Vampire: The Masquerade, Mannequin)

  • Soul Assembly (known for titles such as Drop Dead: The Cabin and Drop Dead: Dual Strike Edition)

  • Combat Waffle Studios (known for Ghosts of Tabor)

  • Beyond Frames Entertainment (publisher of Down The Rabbit Hole, Mixture, Outta Hand and many more titles)

  • Flat2VR Studios (first title will be announced at Gamescom)

  • Patient 8 Games (developer of Return to Rapture, and the upcoming Memoreum)

There will also be a video showcase dedicated to VR games. More details will be announced soon.

Gamescom will take place in Cologne from August 21st to 23rd.
