What to expect from Mixture
Mixture is a fantasy action-adventure where two adversaries travel across barren worlds in a shared quest for redemption. In this dual character VR game, you switch between the master alchemist Sephairos and the exiled knight Sola in first and third person perspectives.
As an unlikely pair, you must use platforms, mix materials, cast spells, engage in melee combat, solve puzzles, and defeat giant bosses to survive in this atmospheric story.
Developed by Polish studio Played With Fire, the game is inspired by games like Moss and requires some platforming skills. You not only control Sola directly, but you also have to take on the role of Sephairos in order to progress. You have six different potions at your disposal, which have a significant impact on both the environment and the duels.
The developers at Mixture have managed to introduce fresh gameplay elements in the form of new potions, hero upgrades, and enemy types on a regular basis. In addition, there are half a dozen boss battles and many platforming passages that will stick in your mind. With a playing time of seven to ten hours, Mixture offers a rather generous scope.
Mixture has been available for Playstation VR 2, Meta Quest 3, Quest 2 and Quest Pro since April 12th and will soon be available for PC VR headsets.
